Finding your niche

My art is a little all over the place. I find many techniques and ideas interesting and I write them in a journal. Fancifully titled “ideas”. I know very creative on my part.

None the less I have so many ideas in this book it would take a lifetime to execute them all and through the creative process one idea leads to another, or a variation on one. So how to find a good niche for marketing or do I ignore it completely and continue my evolution of thoughts?

In an effort to create a interim stream of income I am tailoring my works to a specific audience depending on the showing. Like target marketing. This too will prove an evolution as I gain more insight into where and to whom to market my works.

The piece attached to this post is an image of my “text” of what I see when I hear a particular piece of music. SOund translated into text as it were. One of my random musings.

Wish me luck!
