Managing shows

It takes time, a lot of time, and patience submitting work for shows, waiting to hear back and then. If accepted working out logistics.

Logistics is the hardest part. Many of the shows I’d like to attend require me to fly, that means hotel, flights, food, tent rental etc. It can all add up, especially if, at this point my shows aren’t making money. It is an investment in the work. Gaging peoples reactions, discussing techniques and my favorite part telling the story behind the images that I’ve chosen that put together the new work. Creating imaginary places that existing in my mind and hopefully capture the imagination of the viewers.

I have been lucky to be accepted to a show in Bay Harbor Island in January and am waiting to hear back on several more. As the weather turns colder it is a good time for me to be indoors, assembling images and creating new places to take my viewers to. Look for more in the coming months.
